We provided the technical equipment for a video and event studio belonging to an Italian company located in northern Italy, DMC. This was our first project using the new Chauvet OnAir IP Panel 2 lights — a model specifically designed for film and broadcast studios. These panels offer variable color temperature from 2800 K to 8000 K and are rated IP65. This makes them suitable for outdoor use, as they can withstand harsh weather conditions, but also highly recommended for indoor setups, since their dust-resistant build ensures a longer lifespan.
In addition to these fixtures, we installed Ovation CYC 1 FC cycloramas, Ovation F-415VW Fresnels, and Ovation E-260WW profile lights, all controlled through a QuadCore lighting console.
Alongside the professional lighting system, key components of this studio included a modular truss structure, custom-designed to fit the space, and a tailor-made curtain.
The Eurotruss FD 34 modular truss system was engineered for durability and strength, measuring 9 m x 8.6 m with a height of 4 m and featuring two crossbeams. Our partners from Tüchler supported us with a custom curtain made to fit the truss dimensions, produced from black Puccini flame-retardant fabric (non-flammable).
All the equipment used for this video studio is versatile and adaptable to any space that requires high performance and durability. Thanks to these features, such a project can be implemented in virtually any available space, both indoors and outdoors.
Our technicians programmed the lighting system and worked together with the Italian team to assemble the truss and curtain setup.
